November 24, 2020 A day that proved to be a very memorable day for a nation. A nation whose history was filled with drugs and wars. But as this nation reaffirmed its commitment to change, the date described earlier showed such a success that the world stared in astonishment.

Yes, we are talking about China,

For the first time in history, a country has placed facility on a place on the moon which no human has ever seen. The rear part of the moon, which ‘man’ has never been able to see due to the resemblance of the rotation of the earth and the moon around the sun, has been reached by Chinese spacecraft.

According to China’s national news channel, the persistence of the trip was to carry the moon’s surface soil and rocks to Earth for scientific experimentations. The spaceship is currently on its way back to earth. While this mission has challenged American space monopoly, it has asserted itself as one of the foremost space powers.

At 10:26 AM Beijing time, The Chinese spacecraft landed on the part of the moon where the asteroid collided thousands of years ago, according to NASA research.

The final descent from an elliptical orbit 15 kilometers above the moon’s surface made a smooth and precise landing, according to “Senson Samzirhu”, the designer of the ‘Chang’E 5’.

According to state media, the rover, which China has dubbed ‘Yuto’, returned images of the world’s first near-range imageries. The rover was named in a review in August. Recall that this Chinese mission was planned after India’s abortive attempt to reach the moon. ‘Yuto’, popularly known in Chinese proverbs as the pet rabbit of a Chinese goddess.

The spacecraft landed on a previously unvisited area of the moon — a massive lava plain known as ‘Oceanus Procellarum’, or “Ocean of Storms.” This large dark spot, stretching about 2,900 kilometers (1,800 miles) wide, could be a scar from a giant cosmic impact that created an ancient sea of magma, according to NASA.

The landing marks the third time a Chinese lunar probe has successfully landed on the surface of the moon, the state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

The dark side of the moon never encounters the earth due to rotation so it is called the ‘place of storms’ However, it receives as much light from the sun as it does from the sun on the earth. The success of the mission represents an important part of human exploration in space. Since the area under investigation is the rear place of the moon, it is not possible to make direct contact with the Earth’s control station because radio frequency cannot reach the earth from the back of the moon.

This was a huge obstacle that was ingeniously solved by Chinese scientists. To overcome this hindrance, China last year launched a satellite that would send information to Earth from a rover sent to the back of the moon. The satellite has been orbiting the moon since last year.

In contrast, despite the recent success in sending a robotic lander to Mars, the US agency NASA has faced budget constraints for years.

Although the Chinese government has long identified itself in space research as peaceful and civilian space research. But the White House sees China, along with Russia, as a potential threat to US national security.

The United States has accused Beijing of plotting to launch new weapons into space. President Donald Trump was forced to announce the creation of a ‘space force’ in 2020.

The US Congress has barred NASA from working with China over national security concerns.

According to some US highbrows, combining military readiness with diplomatic efforts could prevent threats on all sides in space. But unfortunately, the United States has never been interested in diplomatic efforts on space security.

This mission will not only change the US position on China, but will also include a mention of space power in its diplomatic policy.
